The purpose of this section is to inform Christians about the world around them so that
thay may respond in a godly and Biblical manner. Too often, Christians in the West have
taken two radical positions concerning the a believer's role in politics: completely
ignoring politics and current events, stressing the sovereignty of God, or becoming a
servant or master of the state, stressing the free will of the believer. Much like the
prophets of the Old Testament spoke passionately about poltical evils done in their times,
Christians are exhorted to stand against the political evils that occur in our society.
The Church must be reminded that she is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather
the conscience of the state. It must be the guide and the critic of the state, and never its tool.
